The Metropolitan Transportation Authority next week hosts its annual conference on contract opportunities for minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises.

The event will be held June 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, 365 5th Ave. in Manhattan. The conference will feature all of the MTA’s agencies, including the Long Island Rail Road, New York City Transit, Metro-North Railroad, Capital Construction, MTA Bus Company, and Bridges and Tunnels.

Contractors, sub-contractors, professional services experts and consultants in the transportation market will be able to meet with public and private sector decision-makers and learn more about the MTA’s $27 billion capital plan and upcoming contract opportunities.

Registration is $150 for certified disadvantaged business enterprises and minority and/or women-owned business enterprises, and $175 for general registration.
