Nassau County homeowners can seek Sandy help

Nassau County homeowners recovering from superstorm Sandy can seek help in Lawrence on Tuesday.
A forum will take place 6 to 9 p.m. at the Five Towns Community Center, 270 Lawrence Rd. Presentations will begin at 6:30.
Topics include mental health and stress reduction, legal rights, flood insurance, challenging real estate taxes, contractor fraud, home elevation and loan programs. For more information, contact Michael Raab, Nassau County storm recovery liaison, at mraab@nassaucountyny.gov or 516-572-1395.
