OutlooK: "We expect that in the future we will continue the stock repurchase programs, make investments in certain existing restaurants, support the growth of the branded product and branded menu programs and fund those investments from our operating cash flow," the company said.

Company statement: Sales for branded product and menu programs and company-owned restaurants grew. "The sales increase at our company-owned restaurants was due to higher customer counts of approximately 9.7 percent and higher check averages of approximately 5.2 percent."
