Networking for the unemployed at the Jericho Jewish Center
Dozens of synagogues have teamed up with Jewish civic groups and businesses for an event Thursday night in Jericho aimed at finding jobs for the unemployed.
Representatives from more than 90 Long Island-based businesses will be there. UJA Federation is sponsoring the event along with Jewish Congregation of Brookville and Jericho Jewish Center. It will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the Jericho center, 430 North Broadway.
The event, supported by 45 synagogues, “will provide those who have are recently unemployed with an opportunity to find new business contacts, explore new business opportunities, and connect with other people in the field.”
