Health duo
Rita E. Roberts, left, has been promoted to assistant vice president of perioperative surgical services at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola. She was administrative director of the hospital's ambulatory surgery unit and the ambulatory surgery center in Garden City. Roberts lives in Franklin Square.
Dr. Leighton Brooks, right, has joined the staff of Child & Family Psychology in Franklin Square as a child psychiatrist. Before joining the practice, the Manhattan resident founded Comprehensive Health Associates in Lauderhill, Florida.
