New members of fire board
The Firemen's Association of the State of New York announced two appointments. Robert McConville, right, has been elected 2nd vice president. The Selden resident is retired from the fleet maintenance division of the Suffolk County Police Department. Richard Vella, left, of West Babylon was appointed director. Before retiring, he was operations manager at Otis Spunkmeyer in West Babylon.
Nassau County Museum of Art named new members to its board of trustees. Joseph T. Canevari is senior sales director, tri-state area at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Garden City and lives in Lake Grove. Woodbury resident, L. Ronald S. Gray, is a managing partner at Mill River Capital in Woodbury.
David R. Okrent has been named 10th district delegate for the New York State Bar Association's elder law committee. The Port Jefferson Station resident has his own law practice headquartered in Dix Hills.
