New chiefs on the medical scene
Dr. Krishan Kumar and Dr. Philip M. Palmeri
Dr. Krishan Kumar has been appointed clinical professor of pediatrics at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury. He is director of pediatric emergency at Nassau University Medical Center and lives in Kew Gardens.
Dr. Philip M. Palmeri has been named chief of podiatric medicine and surgery in the department of orthopedics at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola. The Garden City resident will maintain his private practice in Franklin Square.
