New exec at Bellmore crisis center

Fran Karliner has been hired in the newly created position of director of development at the Long Island Crisis Center, a suicide prevention and crisis intervention agency in Bellmore.

She was director of development at Hi-Hello Child Care Center in Freeport. The Old Bethpage resident is also the newly installed president of the Long Island chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
