The Route 110/Allen Boulevard Business Organization, a new group for businesses on the Route 110 corridor, will host its inaugural event Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gold Coast Bank, 96 Allen Blvd. in Farmingdale.

Admission to the event, which is sponsored by Gold Coast and will include food tastings, is free, but the group recommends completing an online registration on its website, 110biz.org.

Babylon Town supervisor Richard Schaffer will speak during the event.

The Route 110 organization will provide businesses with networking opportunities and possibilities for business partnerships, organizers said.

Route 110 runs through the towns of Babylon and Huntington.

For more information about the event, visit 110biz.org or call Bill Miller, vice president and regional manager of Gold Coast Bank, at 631-465-9130.
