Christopher P. Byrnes, left, has been promoted to associate at Schroder & Strom in Mineola where he will oversee the firm's residential tax appeals. The Northport resident had been a law clerk since June 2009.

Naeemah Clark of Brooklyn, center, has joined Westerman Ball Ederer & Sharfstein, a commercial law firm, as an associate in the firm's litigation department. She held a similar position at Alston & Byurd in Manhattan before joining the Uniondale firm.

Adrienne Kepner Laraby, right,  has joined the Rochester branch of Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, which is headquartered in Lake Success, as a health care associate. She held a similar position at Ward Greenberg in Rochester, which is also where she lives.
