New Levittown Denny's is hiring

For anyone who's ever wanted to run a 24-hour-a-day, 365-days-per year restaurant, now's your chance.

General manager and a restaurant manager jobs are open at the Denny’s chain's new location, at 2716 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. It's the first Denny's in Nassau County, and the second on Long Island. (The other, at the Centereach Mall, isn't hiring right now.)

The GM job in Levittown requires "an experienced general manager who is well versed in all aspects of the 24 hour family dining concept."

She or he should be "a hands-on person who will not buckle under pressure (and) has the ability and experience to effectively manage a 24 hours high volume operation and places high priority on guest service."

The manager job description isn't as demanding. Candidates should be experienced and well-versed in 24-hour family dining, should be "driven", and should be able to manage both the FOH (front of the house, i.e., the dining room) and the BOH (back of the house, i.e., the kitchen).
