Newsday Media Group and News12 Long Island are co-sponsoring a career fair that will take place on Wednesday at the newspaper’s headquarters in Melville.

At least 18 employers are expected to participate, said director of classified advertising Jason Neknez. In addition to Newsday, they include Alcott HR, Altice, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, the Developmental Disabilities Institute and Slomin’s.

The free event will run from noon to 5 p.m. Registration isn’t required. For more information go to newsday.com/careerfair.
