A Northport yacht broker is expanding, and is looking to hire a new buyer, according to a trade magazine report.

Long Island Marine, on Fort Salonga Road, says it wants to hear from applicants with "enthusiasm and passion for boating" — and with organizational skills.

The listing agent job entails traveling through Long Island looking for clean, used power boats and sailboats.

In its Tuesday notice published online in Soundings Trade Only, a marine industry professional trade magazine, the company says, "An established yacht brokerage company in a premiere North Shore marina is expanding and would like to add an ambitious, knowledgeable full-time or part-time Listing Agent."

Applicants may call Long Island Marine at (631) 261-5464 or e-mail Longislandmarine@aol.com
