Northwell, GoHealth to open two pediatric urgent care centers on LI

Northwell Health and GoHealth Urgent Care are opening two pediatric urgent care locations on Long Island.
The urgent care facilities are branded as Cohen Children's/Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care. Cohen Children's Medical Center is Northwell's 202-bed pediatric hospital in New Hyde Park.
The new pediatric urgent care centers will open Friday in East Northport and Hewlett, Northwell said. The locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week and will accept most major insurance plans.
Northwell and GoHealth partner on a network of 46 urgent care centers in New York, including 25 on Long Island. Atlanta-based GoHealth Urgent Care partners with other health systems to operate urgent care centers in regions such as Seattle, San Francisco, St. Louis and Hartford, Connecticut.
New Hyde Park-based Northwell Health is the largest private employer in New York with 66,000 employees.
