Nu Horizons acquisition by Arrow OKd
Stockholders of Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. voted Tuesday at a special meeting to approve the acquisition of the company by Arrow Electronics Inc., Nu Horizons said. (Click here for announcement.)
Both companies are based in Melville. Nu Horizons stockholders will receive $7.00 a share.
The companies expect the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approvals, to close in early 2011.
Several law firms representing stockholders have announced investigations into whether the deal undervalues Nu Horizons shares. (Click here for previous story.)
