Nurse Practitioner of 2010 named

Donna Hallas of Levittown
Donna Hallas of Levittown has been named 2010 Nurse Practitioner of the Year by the Nurse Practitioner Association of Long Island based on her “tireless efforts as a mentor and advocate in the field.”
Hallas is a clinical associate professor at the New York University’s College of Nursing and is a pediatric nurse practitioner for SCO Family of Services in Glen Cove. She is also a founding member and past president of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners’ Long Island Chapter.
