NY Senate leader to speak about LI economy

Long Island’s economy will be the topic of an address by the New York State Senate majority leader next week.
Dean Skelos (R-Rockville Centre) will speak at the Long Island Real Estate Group’s networking breakfast at the Old Westbury Golf & Country Club, 270 Wheatley Rd. in Old Westbury. The event will take place on Wednesday from 8 to 10 a.m.
Skelos will speak about what the state Senate has done over the last few years to boost Long Island’s economy and create jobs, a spokesman said.
Admission is free for group members and $60 for nonmembers. The event is sponsored by Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, a law firm in Uniondale. Reservations can be made by calling 631-721-7400 or emailing info@lireg.org.
