Long Islanders are cashing in on the wildly popular fundraising site Kickstarter, and the region's biggest hits are outpacing the average campaign, according to a report from InnovateLI, a site that covers the economy in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

The report said that among the top 12 Long Island-based campaigns, half of them more than doubled their goal, and all beat what it said most Kickstarter campaigns raise, which is between $1,000 and $19,999.

Among the local campaigns: Lithology Brewing Co. Campaign to Expand Beer Production, Moustache Brewing Co. and Condzella Hops. Do you see the pattern?

All three raised more than $30,000.
