FragranceNet.com, an online discount retailer of perfume, lotion and beauty products, has completed its move from Hauppauge into a Deer Park building after several months of energy-efficient upgrades and renovations.

As of Tuesday its operations in Deer Park are in full swing at a 130,000 square foot Grand Street building it bought in February and spent several months fixing up. The company has installed its administrative offices, warehouse and shipping operations there.

The interior and exterior renovations were done with energy conservation in mind. "FragranceNet.com used eco-friendly materials. All lighting in the warehouse, including individual offices, now boasts high energy-efficient lighting," the company said.

"Windows were upgraded with insulated glass and the warehouse heating, ventilating and air conditioning units have been swapped out for energy efficient systems as well."

Jason Apfel, president of FragranceNet.com, said "In five years, FragranceNet.com quickly outgrew its current Hauppauge" building. He said, "our new location will enable us to continue to expand our operations and add additional products to enhance our current selection of over 13,000 designer beauty products."
