Hauppauge-based Orbit International Corp., which manufactures electronics and provides software solutions, announced Monday that it has received an order for "displays from a leading defense contractor for the Machine Contriol system for the U.S. Navy's CVN 789 class of super aircraft carriers." The order is worth about $800,000, the company said.

Combined with about $1.3 million in other orders related to this program, the company expects a total of $2.1 million in such work.
