(AP) — OSI Systems Inc. said Tuesday that two U.K. airports — Heathrow and Manchester International — have installed its advanced body scanners.

The company did not release financial details.

The failed Christmas Day plot to set off a bomb in a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit has spurred airports around the world to consider greater use of body imaging scanners.

Shares of OSI Systems, which provides electronics for the security and health care industries, were up 88 cents, or 3.3 percent, to $27.21 in afternoon trading.
