Pall Corp. acquires Filter Specialists of Indiana
Pall Corp. has acquired Filter Specialists Inc., a closely held supplier of filtration devices in the chemical, oil and gas and food and beverage markets, the company announced Thursday.
Terms of the deal for the Michigan City, Ind., company were not disclosed.
"The addition of FSI's products and technologies to our existing portfolio of filtration solutions is a great fit for Pall," said Larry Kingsley, chief executive of Port Washington-based Pall. "The FSI products and markets tie nicely to our current plans of creating value for our customers, particularly in the oil and gas, chemical, and other industrial markets."
LexisNexis Corporate Affiliations estimates FSI's revenue for 2013 at between $25 million and $50 million.
A Pall spokesman said the deal closed Thursday, but no further details would be released until the filtration company reports third quarter results on May 29. Pall shares were down 8 cents to $84.08 in midday trading.
