Pall gets new Mideast contract

Pall Corp. has a new contract to supply purification equipment for a natural gas treatment plant in the United Arab Emirates.
Pall did not provide a dollar value for the contract.
The Port Washington company's technology will be part of the $5 billion Habshan 5 gas treatment plant being builty by Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO), Pall says in a Tuesday news release.
The project is a joint venture of Tecnimont S.p.A., an Italian engineering contractor, and JGC Corp., a Japanese engineering contractor.
Pall will supply the following product lines: its SepraSolT liquid/gas coalescer systems (that's a portion of one, above left), Ultipleat High Flow and Coreless Profile filters, porous metal high flow elements with PMF media, and activated carbon units.
The systems remove liquids and particulates, and reduce emissions and waste.
