At the panel, purchasing directors for Stony Brook University, its hospital system, and Long Island state Veteran's home will present on navigating through the University's procurement process.
There will also be a presentation on Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's new START-UP NY program, which allows some new companies that move onto a State University of New York campus to pay no taxes.
The event takes place Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Stony Brook.
