Park Electrochemical names new accounting officer

Park Electrochemical Corp. has named chief financial officer P. Matthew Farabaugh as its principal accounting officer, replacing Robert Yaniro, who resigned effective May 13, the company announced.
Yaniro had held the titles of vice president and corporate controller since February 2015. He joined the company in March 2013 as financial reporting specialist.
Before joining Park, Yaniro was senior manager of financial reporting and consolidations at Hauppauge-based Standard Microsystems Corp. from March 2012 to March 2013.
In an earnings report earlier this month, Park said that fourth-quarter net sales fell 1.3 percent and net income fell by 5.5 percent versus the year-ago period.
On Wednesday, shares of Park rose 1.4 percent to $14.82
Melville-based Park makes specialized materials used for printed circuits in the telecommunications and high-end computing markets. The company also makes composite materials, parts and assemblies for the aerospace market.
