Park misdates its quarterly report

Stockholders of Park Electrochemical Corp. may be confused when they open the latest mailing from the company.

Park announced this week that it had mistakenly sent out a news release about the third quarter of 2010 instead of 2011.  The company is already into its fiscal 2011 calendar.

The news release that was issued Wednesday and covered by the media was correct for the company's third quarter of 2011.

Another mailing with the current earnings information will be sent to stockholders.

Melville-based Park describes itself as “a global advanced materials company which develops and manufactures high-technology digital and RF/microwave printed circuit materials principally for the telecommunications and internet infrastructure and high-end computing markets and advanced composite materials, parts and assemblies for the aerospace and specialty markets.”
