APPOINTMENTS
Nassau County Museum of Art named new members to its board of trustees. Joseph T. Canevari of Lake Grove is senior sales director, tristate area, at BNY Mellon Wealth Management in Garden City. Woodbury resident L. Ronald S. Gray is a managing partner at Mill River Capital in Woodbury.

David R. Okrent has been named 10th District delegate for the New York State Bar Association's elder law committee. The Port Jefferson Station resident has his own law practice headquartered in Dix Hills.

The Firemen's Association of the State of New York announced two appointments. Robert McConville has been elected second vice president. The Selden resident is retired from the fleet maintenance division of the Suffolk County Police Department. Richard Vella of West Babylon was appointed director. Before retiring, he was operations manager at Otis Spunkmeyer in West Babylon.

HEALTH CARE
John T. Mather Memorial Hospital announced two hires. Phil Messina has been named director of nursing emergency services. The Commack resident was assistant vice president operations/administrative director of emergency and perioperative services at Brookhaven Memorial Medical Center. Stuart Vincent joined the hospital as director of public relations. He was assistant vice president for university relations at Hofstra University and lives in Sound Beach.

Deborah Johnson-Schiff has joined the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System as vice president of strategy and business development for its physician and ambulatory network services. The Dix Hills resident was senior vice president of administration at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola.

LAW
Chris J. Coschignano has joined the Uniondale firm of Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker as partner. Before joining the firm, the Muttowntown resident was a partner at Jaspan Schlesinger in Garden City.

Theda Fisher has joined Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger in Lake Success as an associate. The Port Washington resident held a similar position at the law office of Reaz H. Jafri in Manhasset.

Tae Ethan Choi has joined the law office of Michael L. Pfeifer in Garden City in a counsel capacity. Known as Ethan, the Mineola resident held a similar position at Lamson & Cutner in Manhattan.

PUBLISHING
Michael Gray has been promoted to Sunday business editor at the New York Post in Manhattan. The Sea Cliff resident was an associate editor.

REAL ESTATE
Christina Kenny has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Rosner & Associates in Islandia as sales associate. The Stony Brook resident was a credit derivatives trading assistant at Deutsche Bank in Manhattan.

SENIOR LIVING
Steve Necroto has been named executive director of Atria East Northport. The North Babylon resident held a similar position at Atria South Setauket. Both establishments are properties of Atria Senior Living Group.
