Plainview CPA gets service award
Alan Weiner
Alan E. Weiner of Plainview has received the Distinguished Service Award from the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants based on his “exceptional work, vision and contributions to the New York accounting community.”
Weiner, a founding tax partner and partner emeritus at Melville-based accounting firm Holtz Rubenstein Reminick, served as the society’s president from 1999 to 2000 and created its hall of fame.
He also has chaired the society’s tax division oversight and partnerships and LLCs committees and chaired the international tax committee of DFK International, global accounting and consulting firm.
