Do you think the merger of American Airlines and US Airways announced last week will be good or bad for consumers?

The $11 billion merger would create the world's biggest airline, with some 6,700 daily flights.  While some consumer advocates worry that the deal will lead to higher fares, US Airways CEO Doug Parker, who will run the combined airline, said the merger helps travelers by creating a bigger rival to United and Delta.
