Post professor gives talk in Athens

An economics professor from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University last month delivered a lecture in Greece on the subject of the world's financial crisis, the university said.
Panos Mourdoukoutas, chairman of the C.W. Post economics department, spoke Jan. 14 at the Institute of Democracy, in Athens.
His talk was titled "The Prospects for Exiting the Crisis: U.S., Europe and Japan."
The Institute of Democracy's membership in Greece includes professors, business leaders and national parliamentary representatives.
In the talk, Mourdoukoutas also gave his views on how Greece can deal with its debt problems.
Mourdoukoutas is the author of "Business Strategies in a Semi-Global Economy" and co-author of "The Ten Golden Rules: What Ancient Greek Wisdom Teaches About Living the Good Life."
His other books include, "China Against Herself: Innovation or Imitation in Global Business", "Banking Risk Management in a Globalizing Economy" and "The Rise and Fall of Abacus Banking in Japan and China".
