4 East Elm Luxury Condominium High-Rise in the Gold Coast Tops Off
Construction on schedule, first deliveries planned for first quarter of 2016
CHICAGO (PRWEB) October 12, 2015
Chicago-based Convexity Properties and its exclusive sales and marketing partner, @properties, today announced the topping off of 4 East Elm, a new luxury high-rise condominium building at State and Elm streets in Chicago’s Gold Coast.
Concrete work was completed on the 24-story building last week, and the curtain wall now extends to the 16th floor. Convexity expects to deliver the first condominiums at 4 East Elm during the first quarter of 2016.
“The topping off is a major milestone for the project and an exciting time for our buyers,” said David Nelson, principal of Convexity Properties. “There’s been a huge transformation since the beginning of the summer, and we look forward to delivering the 4 East Elm homes on schedule.”
4 East Elm is the first new condominium high-rise in Chicago’s Gold Coast since 2010. The 35-unit building offers half-floor residences with 3 bedrooms plus a den, 3.5 baths, and 3,095 to 3,516 square feet of living space. Prices range from $2.1 million to $4.1 million, with garage parking available from $80,000 per space. The building was designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz with interiors by Gary Lee Partners, both based in Chicago. The general contractor is Hoffman Estates-based Leopardo Construction.
“There’s a definite buzz and growing interest from buyers as 4 East Elm nears completion,” said Michael Golden, co-founder of @properties. “It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a new building in the Gold Coast, and 4 East Elm is a leap forward in terms of design, finishes and amenities.”
