Three unique presentations from five AEC industry leaders span creativity, future job site technology and integrated projects

ANAHEIM, Calif. (PRWEB) April 23, 2018

AEC Next Technology Expo + Conference and SPAR 3D Expo & Conference will join forces in Anaheim, CA June 5-7, 2018, providing unparalleled access to emerging AEC technology and 3D solutions not offered at any other conference in the world.

The much anticipated co-located event gives attendees the chance to explore more than 70 sessions in two separate and robust conference programs highlighting topics such as: BIM and Integrated Project Delivery; Sustainable Sites, Infrastructure and Smart Cities; Industrial Facilities/Asset Management; and Process, Power, Utilities. AEC Next and SPAR 3D shared keynotes will take the stage to explore industry insights on creativity, future jobsite technology and integrated projects.

Ken Sanders, Managing Principal at Gensler and Jack Dahlgren, Senior Project Manager at NVIDIA, will look at Creativity & Constructability in AEC. Their presentation delves into real-world project examples of highly collaborative, integrated approaches illustrating how digital technology is magnifying the creativity of design talent and achieving new levels of performance and value for clients. They will also discuss collaboration on the iconic headquarters campus for NVIDIA including high performance daylighting simulation, VR and computational geometry processes and tools.

David Wilson, Chief Innovation Officer of Bechtel Corporation, and Angie Ackroyd, Manager of System Analysis at Shell TechWorks, will discuss the Challenges of Change: Project 2020 and the Jobsite of the Future. This keynote session will address challenges of workplace digitization from the perspective of a builder and an owner-operator, and provide solutions for the practical application of technology to achieve the jobsite of the future.

Atul Khanzode, Chief Information Officer of DPR Construction, will be the final keynote addressing Integrated Projects – A Vision for the Future. Atul will discuss how the integration of people, processes and technology is fundamentally transforming the AEC industry.

Christine Salmon, Event Director of AEC Next, expressed the importance of choosing the right keynote speakers for the event. “There is a major shift happening in AEC right now. We wanted to provide a space where industry influencers can build on that momentum and inspire attendees to continue the conversation around how to implement or improve the emerging technologies that are helping to shape the future of our built world.”

Attendees will have the option to select an AEC or SPAR conference pass or an All Access to attend both. Exhibits will be integrated into one large vendor-neutral exhibit hall at the Anaheim Convention Center allowing attendees full access to all vendors. The AEC Next and SPAR 3D co-location offers multiple live-demonstration areas including AR/VR interactive environments, more than 40 free show floor education sessions, hands-on workshops, two Launch Centers for emerging technologies and start-ups, a university lightening round competition and more.
