Ambrozino Storr Named President of Eating Recovery Center of California
Seasoned executive with both behavioral healthcare administration and clinical care experience will oversee operations at Sacramento-based eating disorder treatment center

Eating Recovery Center of California, a leading provider of eating disorder treatment in Northern California, today announced that Ambrozino Storr has joined the executive leadership team. As President of Eating Recovery Center of California, Storr will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of three eating disorder treatment centers in Sacramento, Fresno and the Bay Area. Additionally, Storr will collaborate closely with Eating Recovery Center?s Denver-based leadership to remain responsive to the evolving treatment needs of patients, families and referring professionals in the region, while maintaining the clinical and administrative excellence of facilities within the Eating Recovery Center family of programs.

Storr has extensive experience in behavioral healthcare in addition to over 12 years of delivering psychiatric patient care for adults, adolescents and children in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Prior to joining Eating Recovery Center of California, he served as Chief Executive Officer for three Acadia Healthcare behavioral hospitals, including Pacific Grove Hospital in Riverside, CA, Seven Hills Behavioral Health in Henderson, NV and Options Behavioral Health Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. In these executive leadership roles, Storr was responsible for physician recruitment, strategic coordination of new hospital ventures, achieving financial objectives, operations planning for clinical services and nursing administration, and developing relationships with local industries, government and the community.
Prior to moving into behavioral healthcare administration, Storr was a clinician providing direct patient care to adults, adolescents and geriatrics in Illinois. He served as a Milieu Director Streamwood Behavioral Health/Rock River Academy and Residential Facility (Acadia Healthcare), a case worker for the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services and a Mental Health Counselor at Janet Wattles/Mildred Berry Center. Before moving into the behavioral health field, he served for nine years as a financial counselor for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Storr earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the National-Louis University in Chicago and is currently pursuing a Master?s in Addiction Counseling and Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University.
