Amerisure is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Amerisure Scholarship Program (ASP): the five students below were awarded $1,000 each this year through ASP. The program also renewed 14 scholarships for the 2018/2019 academic year.

Amerisure is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Amerisure Scholarship Program (ASP): the five students below were awarded $1,000 each this year through ASP. The program also renewed 14 scholarships for the 2018/2019 academic year.
The following students, and their respective universities, were awarded scholarship funding:

  • Jordyn Bertman, University of Michigan
  • Linda Chesney, University of Florida
  • Nicholas Chesney, Florida State University
  • Scott Goutman, University of Michigan
  • Ethan Mok, University of Georgia

“For the past 26 years, ASP has been honored to award $469,000 in scholarships to 161 deserving students,” said Angela McBride, Chief Administrative Officer at Amerisure. “The scholarship recipients have demonstrated tremendous passion for their academic pursuits. We congratulate them and wish them success in their future endeavors. Amerisure is proud to support the next generation of leaders while also assisting its employees with post-secondary education expenses.”

Each year, the ASP awards up to six scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each, which is renewable for up to three years of undergraduate study. The scholarships provide assistance to Amerisure parents for the costs associated with post-secondary undergraduate education, including tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment.
