Augie?s Quest Tradition of Hope Gala Celebrates 10 Years in the Fight to Cure ALS

Grammy Award Winning Producer, Song Writer and Artist, David Foster, will perform at this year?s event in support of ALS research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute

Augie?s Quest, an aggressive, cure-driven effort focused on finding treatments and cures for ALS, announced that the 10th anniversary Tradition of Hope gala will be held on October 10, 2015 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Tradition of Hope gala is a black-tie charity event which funds ALS research being done at the ALS Therapy Development Institute.

This year?s Tradition of Hope gala will feature entertainment by David Foster, Grammy award winning producer, song writer, arranger, performer and hitmaker. Foster is dedicating his time and talent for this 10 year anniversary event in honor of a close friend who is living with ALS.

In addition, Bert Selva, President and CEO of Shea Homes, will be honored with the 2015 Founders Award for his longstanding involvement and commitment to the mission of Augie?s Quest.

?10 years ago when Augie and I came up with the idea to host the first Tradition of Hope Gala, we had no idea that it would have such a huge impact on the ALS community. Since 2006, we have raised over $15 million for ALS research from this event alone. I?m proud to accept the Founders Award from Augie?s Quest and look forward to raising additional dollars to be used toward finding a treatment for ALS,? said Selva.
