“Oscars-like” distinction celebrates Benzer Pharmacy for innovation, dedication and best-in-class service

Benzer Pharmacy is proud to announce that it has been recognized among this year’s first-place recipients in the fourth annual APPA Pharmaceutical Industry Awards, earning “Independent Pharmacy of the Year” honors. The event was created by the American Pharmacy Purchasing Alliance to recognize outstanding performance in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Alliance has long been a champion of those who display “superior commitment and contribution” to the industry—a point underscored by Brandon Welch, APPA President: “The competition was intense and those recognized as the award winners should be immensely proud of this accomplishment.”

Award-winners were selected by an industry survey in 12 categories, singling out high-performing organizations in the areas of education, manufacturing, wholesaling and other areas, as well as individual awards going to the entrepreneur and representative of the year, respectively. In all, eight companies, one school, and three individuals were duly acknowledged.

The presentation of the 2018 APPA Pharmaceutical Industry Awards is scheduled to take place on June 8, 2018, at APPA’s National Convention “PharmaCon Expo” in Orlando Florida.
