San Antonio scooter company vows an ‘exceptional user experience’

Eric M. Bell, founder of Blue Duck Scooters has pledged to work with communities and users to ensure the new electric scooter-sharing company doesn’t go the way of other bike and scooter sharing programs in other communities.

The demand for clean transportation alternatives has started an “arms race” and city streets have become cluttered with unused bicycles and scooters. Bell has vowed Blue Duck Scooters will not go that route and outlined that promise in a memo to the leaders of other ridesharing companies.

“We’re not rushing into communities in a way that would only make things worse,” Bell said. “We’re taking a measured approach, working with city and community leaders, and ensuring we’re part of the solution to congested roads.”
