Brambleton Agency Launches Charity Program in Winchester, VA and Debuts with Campaign in Support of Froggy’s Closet
The Brambleton Agency inaugurates a local charity program in the greater Winchester, VA area to engage the support of the agency’s network of clients and business partners in benefitting the community. Its first campaign will raise funds to help provide foster kids with essential items through Families Reaching Out Group (FROG) and Froggy’s Closet.
Winchester, VA (PRWEB) October 24, 2015
The Brambleton Agency in Winchester, VA has announced the debut of a master charity program created especially to benefit the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area to nominate a new beneficiary every 60 days. Their goal is to initiate campaigns aiding a selected individual, family or program with fundraising and other support by bringing community awareness to important local causes.
To launch their Community Program, Mel Pine, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce Froggy’s Closet. The campaign’s mission is to assist this worthy organization in their efforts to help fully outfit children new to foster care with vital clothing, school supplies, furniture and more. The Families Reaching Out Group (FROG) founded Froggy’s Closet in 2009, out of two foster mothers’ desire to help provide children new to the system with all the essentials. Unfortunately, kids usually arrive in foster care with no more than the clothes on their backs. Froggy’s Closet accepts monetary donations, as well as donations of new and gently used items. FROG looks at it not as a charity, but as an investment in children and in the future of the community at large.
“We understand just how important it is to help people around us who are less fortunate, and we hope to pull the community together in support of those who need it most,” said Mel Pine, owner of the Brambleton Agency. “We’re very pleased to debut our community enrichment program by aiding Froggy’s Closet in providing essential items for children in foster care. If we all band together we can give these kids a brighter future!”
The donations page of each new campaign will feature a fully detailed story, explaining the selected cause. The Brambleton Agency will also spread the word through its own database of thousands of customers, business partners, staff, neighbors and friends. The Brambleton Agency also produces a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which reserves a full page featuring the details of each selected worthy cause.
