Calypso Video Takes "Gold Award of Excellence"
Video team creates a powerful tool to promote major capital campaign
Portsmouth, N.H. (PRWEB) June 15, 2016
The MtA2C Conservation Initiative tasked Calypso to help promote a major capital campaign with multi-year conservation goals. Working closely with MtA2C, Calypso scripted, storyboarded, and produced a video that emphasizes the role humans play as stewards of the land across generations—and the vital connection between people and their environment.
"We are honored to receive such recognition for this project, which was near and dear to our heart,” says Mike Teixeira, senior vice president of creative for Calypso. “This is a living, breathing example of how incorporating well-crafted video into a marketing mix creates an emotional connection to an organization’s mission. Kudos to our client for allowing us to skip the data and statistics best suited to web pages and just let us tell a heart-warming story that focuses on the underlying importance of land preservation."
The Communicator Awards recognizes entrants whose work transcends innovation and craft and creates lasting impressions. Its governing body, the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), is a 600+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts that judges and oversees the 6,000+ entries from companies and agencies of all sizes.
The award-winning video can be viewed here on Calypso’s website.
