CBT Nuggets Announces New Network+ Course
New CBT Nuggets course covers the exam objectives for the popular, entry-level CompTIA certification Network+ N10-007.

CBT Nuggets announces the release of a new online video training course, CompTIA Network+ N10-007.
The 228-video, entry-level course teaches learners the fundamental networking topics covered in the latest version of the popular certification from CompTIA.
In March, CompTIA released the new version of the exam. N10-007 replaces the N10-006 exam, which will retire in August 2018. Until that time, learners can still access training for the previous version of the exam.
CompTIA expanded the domains covered in the new N10-007 exam into technologies and concepts they consider to be foundational, including:
- Critical security concepts,
- Cloud computing best practices and service models,
- New hardware and virtualization techniques; and,
- Network resiliency.
CBT Nuggets trainers Keith Barker, Jeremy Cioara, Chuck Keith, and Anthony Sequeira collaborated on the video training, in-video quizzes, and virtual labs associated with the course.
Network+ is an entry-level certification exam, there are no prerequisites for taking the exam; however, CompTIA recommends that learners have at least a year of IT experience to help ground the theoretical and practical concepts validated by the exam.
CompTIA certifications are valid for three years from the date of certification. The CompTIA Network+ certification is eligible for renewal through CompTIA’s continuing education (CE) program. Because CBT Nuggets is a CompTIA partner, our courses are pre-approved for continuing education credit.
“Network+ has been completely redone,” Keith Barker said. “Besides just learning how the network operates, we’ll also take a look at the network itself, and show you some real-world tips and tricks to keep it real and keep it fun.”
Network+ is available as part of a CBT Nuggets subscription. Subscriptions are available for individuals or teams, and can be paid monthly, semi-annually, or yearly.
