Concordia Systems, Inc. Introduces “SentinelCare™ Advanced Monitoring & Safety for Seniors Aging-in-Place
Concordia Systems introduces SentinelCare, a next generation solution supporting those aging-in-place.
BALTIMORE, MD (PRWEB) June 24, 2016
Concordia Systems Inc. announces the pilot release of their flagship offering, SentinelCare™ - a proactive alternative to PERS (Personal Emergency Response Systems). A service that operates in conjunction with alarm systems, SentinelCare™ uses traditional motion and specialty sensors to identify conditions that may indicate deteriorating health and/or a need for intervention. Family members and caregivers can automatically receive alerts and telephone notification when conditions warrant and eliminate the need for the loved one to push any button or wear a pendant.
Apps are available for Android and iPhone users, putting peace of mind in the palm of your hand.
“SentinelCare™ changes the paradigm, calling for assistance when the senior is unable or unwilling to,” said Founder Paul Merenbloom. “As we learned firsthand, many conditions, including cardiac events, strokes, and falls leave seniors unable to press that button.” Inspired by the needs of a 95-year-old grandmother, SentinelCare™ was instrumental in the early discovery and intervention of potentially serious and life-threatening conditions.
“We are particularly proud that SentinelCare is low-cost, easy to use, and respects the privacy of seniors” said co-Founder Bill Peters. SentinelCare™ is currently available in select geographic regions and is anticipated for general release in the fall.
