As a former prosecutor, Barrett has handled numerous cases related to criminal law such as DUI’s, juvenile law, misdemeanors and felonies. She also worked as a litigation specialist at the Chicago Legal Services Clinic, where she represented domestic violence victims.
Crystal Lake criminal law attorney Jeanne A. Barrett obtained her J.D. and B.A. from The University of Iowa. She also holds an M.A.T. degree from National Louis University. In addition to practicing law, Barrett has experience working as an educator. She has taught business law classes at the University of Iowa as well as paralegal courses at Harper College. Barrett is an active member of the McHenry County Bar Association.
