Danby Appliance CEO Would Like To Buy Old IHOP Signs For Fair Price
Jim Estill, CEO of Danby Appliances, a 70-year old Canadian-based appliance manufacturer/distributor, announced today he’s open to purchasing the International House of Pancakes’ (IHOP) old signs following news that IHOP will be changing its name to IHOb.
GUELPH, Ontario (PRWEB) June 08, 2018
“The name Danby has served us well for 70 years. If Julia Stewart is open to selling us their old signs, we’ll gladly change our name to dOHI,” said Estill earlier today. “Danby is a frugal company and we figure we can turn the IHOP signs upside down. Also, the smile about the name resonates well with us."
Estill is leaving the ball in Stewart’s court, “This could be win-win for Danby and IHOb, and I hope she reaches out.” Estill says he’ll be waiting by the phone to find out if IHOb is open for business.
