Dr. Amitabha Mazumder is a highly experience Medical Oncologist that brings over 35 years of medical experience to The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.

Dr. Mazumder received his medical education from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and then completed his residency and internship at Baylor College of Medicine and at MD Anderson. He then fellowed in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Bethesda, Maryland where he also researched in immunology under Dr. Steven Rosenberg and NCI. He has contributed to more than 130 articles to peer-reviewed journals and has a number of grants, patents, abstracts, book chapters, and invited presentations to his credit. He has conducted as Principal Investigator in over 50 clinical trials in Multiple Myeloma and Transplant over the last 15 years.

He is fluent in Hindi and Bengali.

Dr. Amitabha Mazumder believes in staying current in clinical research and research studies in order to provide the best care and treatment plans for his patients.
