Dr. Bruce Rothschild, Director of Consultation-Liaison Services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, has announced the opening of his private psychiatric practice in Bloomfield, CT. His practice focuses on helping patients with anxiety/depression/bipolar disorders, psychopharmacological evaluations, and medication management.
For 25 years, Dr. Rothschild has been the Director of Consultation-Liaison Services at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford Connecticut. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Until earlier this year, Dr. Rothschild was the Medical Director at Beacon Behavioral Services a multi-disciplinary practice in Avon, Connecticut. In his role, he provided psychopharmacological evaluations and follow-up for this large multi-site, mental health practice.
Dr. Rothschild began practicing psychiatry in the Hartford area in 1989 when he developed and directed the Eating Disorder Day Hospital at the Institute of Living. He has been acknowledged multiple times as one of the top psychiatrists in Connecticut Magazine’s Top Lists.
