The Oncology Institute welcomes Dr. Haydee Gonzalez Hidalgo to their team of specialists.

Dr. Haydee Gonzalez Hidalgo, is a highly experienced Board Certified Oncologist that brings over 20 years of experience to the Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.

Dr. Gonzalez received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University District Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She fellowed at the Department of Medical Oncology in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI, Hematology at the Boston City Hospital and University Hospital, and Renal at the Memorial Sloan, Kettering Cancer Center. She has both clinical and hospital experience.

Dr. Gonzalez has fluency in Spanish.

Patient Care Philosophy:

Dr. Gonzalez believes strongly in patient education. She believes that once the patient understands their condition and treatment options, they will be ready to manage their own healthcare plan. Her care is customized and reflects patient needs, values and choices.
