Education’s Next Horizon has launched LouisianaCommonCore.org as a resource for all Louisiana residents interested in the Common Core State Standards.

Baton Rouge, LA (PRWEB) November 26, 2013

Education’s Next Horizon has launched a new website, LouisianaCommonCore.org, as part of its continuing advocacy work in support of Louisiana’s Common Core State Standards.

The website is designed to serve as a comprehensive information source and provides an outlet for individuals and organizations across the state to voice their positions. “While we support Common Core, we think it is important and helpful that all voices be heard. We’ve created a virtual forum where that might occur, and encourage everyone, whether you are for, against or neutral on the issue, to sign up and join the discussion,” said Julio Galan, president and board chair of Education’s Next Horizon.

“We especially welcome parents and teachers across the state to voice their opinions, share ideas and make use of the information resources the site provides,” said John Warner Smith, the group’s chief executive officer.
