Real estate website EquityHunt (http://www.equityhunt.com) has introduced 300 investors with their sponsors/developers this year. EquityHunt is a free internet platform that connects real estate sponsors/developers with interested accredited investors who browse the deals they post.

"One of the most difficult things for someone who needs an investment for a real estate project is finding a person with the knowledge, and financial capacity to help, " said Steven Czyrny, Marketing Director. "Since we are a little bit different than other real estate sites, we feel we are helping make that connection, and put people in the position to find success."

There have been hundreds of deals posted on EquityHunt since its founding in early 2013, and there are over 130 deals that are active currently.

EquityHunt allows sponsors/developers to choose one of the following asset types: MultiFamily, Land, Portfolio, Hotel, Industrial, Specialty Housing, Retail, Mobile Home Park, Office, & Flips/Renovations.

One aspect of EquityHunt that is attractive to the investor members is the EquityHunt index, showing the sponsor/developers' projected IRR by asset type.

The index has improved from an average projected IRR of 17.82% at this time last year, to 20.76% currently.
