Evocative has expanded its fiber footprint to link its East Bay and South Bay locations to Equinix SV1 11 Great Oaks Boulevard in San Jose. The additional network capacity will allow Evocative to interconnect with all customers, partners, and carriers within the Equinix environment.

Evocative’s new high-capacity dark fiber network infrastructure creates a direct route from the company’s San Francisco Bay Area Emeryville data center EM1 at 1400 65th Street to its San Jose data center SV7 at 534 Stockton Avenue and the Equinix data center SV1 at 11 Great Oaks Boulevard. This new dark fiber route enables Evocative clients to benefit from an expanded suite of connectivity services including:

• IP transport for any business colocated at the Equinix SV1 data center
• L2 transport from the Equinix SV1 data center to any Evocative data center including Los Angeles (LA1 / LA2), Phoenix, AZ (PHX1), Plano, TX (DA1), and Reston, VA (DC1), or to any location supported by Evocative’s connectivity partners
• Amazon AWS Direct Connect and other secure cloud connections to provide direct connectivity between any Evocative client’s private cloud or colocation environment to the public cloud
• Managed IT services
