GetApp Releases Q3 GetRank of Top Inventory Management Solutions
StitchLabs, BrightPearl, and TradeGecko claim the top 3 spots in GetApp’s Q3 ranking of cloud-based inventory management solutions.

GetApp, the largest cloud-based business apps marketplace, has released its Q3 GetRank of the top 25inventory management solutions with StitchLabs, BrightPearl, and TradeGecko rounding out the top 25 of the ranking, based on 5 data points: user generated reviews, integrations, mobile platforms, media presence, and security.
User-generated reviews and integrations are calculated using data listed on GetApp, while security scores come from vendor responses to a security survey based on the Cloud Security Alliance Self-Assessment Form. Mobile platform data is pulled from the Google Play and Apple App Stores, while media scores are calculated using the number of Facebook followers and Twitter fans a vendor has.
The goal of the ranking is to provide businesses who are looking for inventory management solutions with a first look at some of the leading choices in the industry. Along with the ranking is a Q3 report, Operating in the Cloud, signalling trends in the operations management industry that can help with making a software choice.
According to Seth Patin, founder of supply chain management consultancy Accelogix and one of the contributors to the report, “mobility is a major technology trend in general, but its application to inventory management solutions is fundamentally changing how an operation can run. Processes that used to be paper-based and reactionary can now proactively send instructions to mobile devices on which the operator can be directed to a specific item and location where inventory availability can be immediately confirmed.”
